Sony and YUI's administration have been denying constant petitions from fans, both japanese and from other countries, to release a DVD of YUI's latest tour HOTEL HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN.


Our utmost desire as a fan community is to share YUI's music to as many people as possible. And to support her by buying her works and motivating others to do the same, disapproving the abuse of piracy or any other practice that might be harmful to her career.


But YUI's management is going in the exact opposite direction taking an egoistic decision hard to understand.

Whether Sony wants to release a LIVE DVD or not, our desire will always be to share YUI's music to everybody who wants to hear it or see it. That's why we will set a deadline for an official release announcement, or a reasonable explanation of why they won't do so. If YUI-net doesn't emit any declarations after said deadline is met, "several files will be released to the public for free".

YUI x OreSkaBand Corp ~ It's My Life

YUI updated her blog with some exciting news for both her own fans and ska fanatics!

Her latest single, “It’s My Life / Your Heaven” is scheduled for release on January 26th, but it looks like a PV is already in the works. In her message, YUI revealed:

“Yesterday I did the filming for the “It’s My Life” music video! This time, the horn group ORESKABAND came and participated~ I had so much fun with everybody!”

For those of you who may not know ORESKABAND, they’re an all-female ska band whose signature happy-pop-ska sound have made them quite popular in the J-ska realm. The group previously collaborated with Acid Black Cherry for his hit song, “Black Cherry.”

Judging by this collaboration, fans can expect to hear the ska band in YUI’s newest single.
